Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. This page explains which ones getdarcey.co.uk and the DARCEY service use.
Our website
We do not use cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking on getdarcey.co.uk. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels or social media trackers. That is why you do not see a cookie pop-up when you visit.
The only cookies on this website are set by WordPress when someone logs in to manage the site, for example:
- wordpress_logged_in_ and wordpress_sec_: keep a site manager signed in
- wordpress_test_cookie: checks the browser accepts cookies at sign-in
- wp-settings-: remembers a site manager’s screen settings
These are only set for people who log in to run the website. Ordinary visitors do not get them.
The DARCEY service
When you sign in to DARCEY, we use cookies and similar storage, in your browser and in the DARCEY app on your phone, that are strictly necessary to run the service. They:
- keep you signed in securely
- protect your account and our network from attacks, including security cookies set by our provider Cloudflare
- remember basic settings you choose
The law allows these without asking first, because DARCEY cannot work without them or because you asked for them, such as a setting you chose. We do not use cookies in DARCEY for advertising or tracking.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the cookies DARCEY needs, you will not be able to sign in.
Changes and contact
If we ever add other cookies, we will update this page and ask for your consent first where the law requires it. Questions? Contact Broadstone Technology Ltd:
